Beam angle / distribution: 15°, 24° and 36° are examples, not presets. Select the spread and distribution around the task.
Aiming / cut-off: Put light on the intended surface while shielding the source from normal sightlines.
Glare / UGR: Evaluate glare in the room and viewing position; a fixture label alone does not describe every installation.
Useful illumination / efficacy: Balance task light, fixture count, connected load and visual comfort.

CRI, R9 and TM-30 describe rendering. CCT sets the tone; SDCM keeps it consistent.

TM-30: Fidelity and gamut reveal more about how a source renders colours.

SDCM / MacAdam / LED binning: Consider colour variation and source selection to keep neighbouring lights visually consistent.

A continuous thermal path protects the LED. The board, interface, heat sink, driver and installation work together.

Explore the specification

LED generation / efficacy: Evaluate useful light output and electrical input as a complete luminaire system.
Thermal architecture: Heat moves from the LED junction through the board and thermal interface into the heat sink, then to the surroundings.
Installation clearance: Contact, surface area and airflow matter. A small aperture still needs space for the housing and driver.
Lumen maintenance / driver life: Useful life depends on the LED, thermal path, driver and operating conditions together.

Tunable white / KNX: Coordinate white-temperature control and suitable interfaces with the client’s automation partner.
