Will these lights work with my automation?
“Dimmable” is a useful description. It is not a complete compatibility answer. The light, its driver and the control system need to work together.
Begin with the system already planned
Share the automation vendor’s proposed controls and the behaviour required in each room. Simple dimming, tunable white and independently controlled colour channels place different demands on the equipment and wiring.
TRIAC, 0–10V, DALI, DALI-2 and DMX describe different control approaches. A fixture specified for one should not be assumed to accept another. KNX integration may involve compatible interfaces or gateways selected with the automation vendor.
Confirm the exact combination
Review the actual driver model and controller together. Ask about the dimming range, low-level stability, switch-on behaviour and what happens after a power interruption. Where the result matters, test the proposed combination before repeating it across the project.
DALI-2 certification includes verified testing intended to improve interoperability. It is still necessary to confirm the required functions, system design and commissioning with the responsible specialists.
Agree who delivers each part
Enlighto curates the lighting and coordinates its requirements with the client’s automation vendor. Enlighto does not provide the automation solution.
Document responsibility for the control equipment, wiring, addressing, scene programming and final handover. A clear plan early in the project makes it easier to get the behaviour you expect when the space is occupied.
